About Carrie 

Carrie is a compassionate, intuitive, mind-body educator, and therapist whose passion for mind-body wellness is unmatched. Her specialties are Somatic Based Therapies that speak the language of the nervous system - specifically Somatic Neuromuscular Re-education, Lymphatic & Nervous System Reset Practices weaved with Mind Study and Yogic Philosophy to address the patterns that are showing up for each individual.

 

She is a perpetual learner and dedicated to helping others tap into their deepest selves and uncover more ease, peace and joy in their lives!

 

Carrie is certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and has been in private practice specializing in working with clients with chronic and recurrent pain, disease conditions and rehabilitation for over 15 years.

 

She uses a biopsychosocial model in working with her clients with extensive training in pathologies, neuroscience and nervous system education, pain reprocessing therapy to address neuroplastic pain, functional movement re-education, breath retraining, pelvic rebalancing, mindfulness, mind study, general nutrition, and goal setting.

 

Carrie is the co-founder of Resolve Pain Guru – www.resolvepainguru.com - an online education and teaching platform offering life changing programs, videos and resources for people suffering from mind-body pain. Along with her business partner Nicole Ablack Ramkay they have co-authored several programs - their signature program is called Mind-Body Blueprint: Roadmap to Somatic Embodiment to support keen learners to release energy blocks and pain and realize their goals in life!

Somatic Self Discovery 

Somatic Self Discovery, is the process of learning to listen to and attend to the messages coming from the body to support sovereignty in the healing process. Cultivating understanding about how your body works - specifically your brain, nervous system, lymphatic system and how muscles & tissues move, and are moved, is essential to releasing the patterns that keep you in a place, other than your highest potential.

"Somas" are self sensing, self correcting, self regulating. The process of going inward, getting quiet and sensing and feeling is the recipe for embodied health and wholeness.
